Polly put the kettle on

Polly pattern

Polly's kinda cute, eh? I found this pattern wedged in with some other finds recently - she'd been cut out and traced over unflatteringly with black, red, and blue crayons. I took out a little tracing paper and did my best to find and re-create her original lines. This is a red-line transfer, maybe Workbasket, but it's not identified in any way. And, is it just me or does it look like Polly's got a pet boa coiled around her neck?

This is so cute! I make a pot of tea every night and it wouldn't be unusual for my dh to say "polly put the kettle on"! Is this considered a freebie?

Hi Billie, it is a free pattern! Just click on it to get a larger size, and print. I do think I traced her kinda wonky... :)

Thank you, I think it looks perfect! Oh, it does look like she's got a boa around her neck, he-he.

I totally see a boa around her neck but she is still cute. Thank you for sharing this one!

Ha ha Billie and Patty - I guess you can stitch the exotic pet or not, to suit your taste... for some reason the whole snake thing reminds me of Salma Hayak... :D

I think you did a great job tracing her too! She's super cute ... I wonder about the snake. Clearly Polly has a hidden exotic streak. Or there's something in that tea.
